UrFibre are actively looking for a for a FTTP Engineer, to be based in Dudley, to work on multiple projects in the surrounding area.
The business itself provides True Fibre direct to the router, one of the most cutting-edge fibre network solutions in the UK. Providing businesses and housing developments, with a true fibre connection. This is one of the most interesting broadband start-ups in the UK with a distinctive perspective on the market and an exciting range of goods.
The ideal applicant would have knowledge of FTTH/FTTP installations and be capable of working with confidence on UG and OH works for PIA installations.

• Full training and accreditation provided.

• All vehicles, fuel, tools and equipment supplied.

Roles and responsibilities
• Meet deadlines for Network Build / Installations by working under the Site Supervisor.
• Reconnaissance of the area to identify any obstacles to a successful installation
• UG/OH Installation of Fibre Optic Cables
• Fibre blowing, BFT Installations
• Fibre Splicing daily
• Complete customer installations when and if required
• Liaising with 3rd Parties for civils, traffic management and other PIA related activities
• Meet deadlines for Network Build / Installations by working under the Site Supervisor.

• Competent in the use of mechanical equipment.
• Experience in the use of risk assessments, method statements and hazard identification, with a strong focus on health and safety responsibilities.
• Familiar with electronic Apps and the ability to read instructions, complete paperwork and take photo evidence of work completed.
